🐾 About BellyBands.net

BellyBands.net started the same way a lot of good things do… with a dog and a problem that needed solving.

Years ago, my son Michael had his heart set on getting a puppy. He promised he would help take care of him every day, and before long, we welcomed an energetic little dog named Pepsi into our home.

Everything was going great… until one day I noticed spots on the carpet that no one could explain.

It didn’t take long to figure it out — Pepsi had started marking in the house.

Like so many dog owners, I was frustrated. We had a good dog, and suddenly we had a problem that felt overwhelming.

A friend suggested something I had never heard of before: a belly band.

At the time, I had never even seen a belly band, so I came up with a home-made belly band solution myself.

The first time Pepsi tried to mark while wearing it, everything changed. The band absorbed the urine, protected our home, and — just as importantly — helped break the habit. He quickly lost interest in marking indoors.

That simple solution made such a difference that I knew other dog owners needed it too.

From One Dog to Thousands

In 2003, BellyBands.net was created with a simple goal:

To help dog owners solve marking and incontinence problems quickly, safely, and comfortably.

What started with one dog turned into something much bigger.

Over the years, we’ve helped thousands of dog owners deal with:

  • Marking behavior
  • Housebreaking accidents
  • Senior dog incontinence

Every belly band we offer is designed from real-world experience — not theory.

Built on Experience

With over 50 years of hands-on experience with dogs and more than 20 years focused on housebreaking and behavior issues, I understand what works — and what doesn’t.

That experience goes into every product.

Our belly bands are:

  • Comfortable for dogs
  • Durable through repeated washing
  • Designed to actually solve the problem — not just cover it up

They are trusted by dog owners, veterinarians, and rescue organizations who rely on them every day.

Why This Matters

When a dog starts marking or having accidents, it can be stressful for everyone.

Too often, good dogs lose their homes because of problems that can be managed with the right approach.

That’s why BellyBands.net exists.

  • To help keep dogs in their homes
  • To make life easier for dog owners
  • To provide a simple, effective solution that works

❤️ Supporting Adopters and Rescue Dogs

Over the years, we’ve also had the opportunity to help many rescue organizations and adopters during that important transition period when a dog first comes into a new home.

Marking and housebreaking issues are one of the most common challenges during this time, and they can be frustrating for new owners. With the right support and a simple solution, most of these problems can be managed successfully.

Our goal has always been to help dogs stay in their homes and make that transition easier for both the dog and the owner.

A Simple Solution That Works

Some dogs learn quickly. Some take a little time. And yes, there are a few stubborn ones.

But belly bands make a real difference — protecting your home while helping your dog break the habit.

And sometimes, like with Pepsi, the solution is simpler than you think.
