However, when a dog pulls in any direction…even backwards… a Martingale collar disperses pressure evenly around the neck. This provides extra security in preventing a dog from pulling out of it’s collar. (Other collars put pressure only on the trachea, allowing dogs to slip out of their collars.)

We Offer Plain or Fancy Pattern Collars…
PLAIN COLLARS are made of strong, heavyweight polypropylene webbing that is durable with strong, quality welded hardware. Our plain standard webbing Martingale collars can take a lot of wear and washing. All of our martingale collars are adjustable in size.
FABRIC COLLARS are the same as our standard collars, but they are covered on the outside with woven, jacquard, metallic or other fabric ribbon materials as described. Fabric collars are designed to be stylish and safe while walking your dog. They are durable, but, due to the embroidered or metallic fabric on some of the collars, the fabric could be snagged, chewed or damaged by your pet, so supervise your dog when wearing a collar. If you want to leave a collar with ID on your pet at all times, we recommend a very thin, comfortable “ID Tag” collar. Martingale collars and “ID tag” collars can both be worn at the same time while walking, and we recommend it.
